Chicagoland AthletiCo locations will be holding a shoe drive in October to collect new and gently used shoes for Share Your Soles. Share Your Soles, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Alsip, provides shoes to impoverished people in the United States and throughout the world.
In it’s fifth year, the AthletiCo shoe drive will take place in the days around the Chicago Marathon (on 10-10-10). From Monday, October 4 through Saturday, October 16, each AthletiCo facility will have a designated donation bin to collect shoes. AthletiCo locations are available on their web site.
