Downer’s Grove-based Ralcorp Frozen Bakery Products is recalling five lots of Target Market Pantry Snickerdoodles Cookies because they contain undeclared whey (milk). People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to whey/milk are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.

GFS Pecan Pieces recalled in IL, IN, & other states due to undeclared walnuts
Nut Bar Company Inc. of Wyoming, MI, is recalling 90 cases of “GFS Pecan Pieces” (40 oz.) because they may contain undeclared walnuts rather than pecans. The product was distributed through GFS Marketplace Stores in Illinois, Indiana, and seven other states.

American Spoon Foods is voluntarily recalling Apple Chipotle Salsa, Maple BBQ Grilling Sauce, And Pumpkin Chipotle Roasting Sauce, which may contain undeclared wheat flour. The wheat flower may be dangerous to those with wheat or gluten sensitivities or allergies.

Tiny Greens Organic Farm of Urbana recalls alfalfa sprouts and spicy sprouts
Tiny Greens Organic Farm of Urbana, Ill., is voluntarily recalling all alfalfa sprouts and spicy sprouts from Nov. 1 through Dec. 21 due to possible Salmonella contamination. The sprouts were distributed in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri.
Fifty-one cases of Salmonella were reported by individuals after eating alfalfa sprouts at Jimmy John's restaurants in several Illinois counties, including Cook, Kankakee, McHenry, and Will. These cases have been statistically associated with Tiny Greens, and the source of the outbreaks are still being investigated by Tiny Greens and the FDA.
